Because my friend's casual minotaur deck just wasn't enough of a pain.

Seriously though, it's kinda cool that most minotaurs in Theros are 2/3s. A testament to Hurloon Wrangler? Probably. There's also the fact that in order for them to be a "big" tribe the need a P/T total of at least 5, and 2/3s are less scary than 3/2s.

What's that? Deathbellow Rider will now win every fight but still come out alive? Boros Reckoner now flat-out kills any creature it sends damage at? Rageblood Shaman guarantees your fellas do their power-1 damage to the opponent when they attack? Sounds good to me.

Unless there is a mythic in the same pack, I would slam this guy over everything else. Just go Tribal.

I'd even argue picking this over Pheres-Band Warchief, just because there are more minotaurs in the block, than there are Centaurs.
