I can honestly say I never expected to see this reprinted. It could be amazing in combination with stuff like Tamiyo, but we will have to wait and see.

Truly blown away by this reprint. 5 stars flavorwise but a little less for usability.

Yay! I can finally reasonably afford some Portal cards!
Also, I sort of wish this was a creature somehow, so I could chuck it with Pygmy Giant.

This card is awesome on every level. Use it with Sleep.

@Shadowcaster3975: As noted on the other releases, this is actually a reference to the Battle of Chi Bi (or at least, the way it's told in Romance of the Three Kingdoms). Zhou Yu's supply lines had run into difficulties, resulting in a shortage of arrows for the Shu/Wu armies. As a result, Lu Su and Zhuge Liang came up with the stratagem of tricking Wei forces into thinking barges of Wu reinforcements had shown up--"reinforcements" that were actually straw dummies that acted as sponges for the arrow fusillades they attracted. Arrow shortage solved.

there is actually a movie about the "Red Cliff" (Chi Bi) go watch because it is epic!
This is probably one of the greatest Magic Cards or Military Tactics you will ever lay your eyes on x3
Kinda makes me think stuff like 'radar takes all the fun out of war :P '
Can you imagine decades later Ol' Man Shu and Ol' Man Wei? XD
"I still got 1,000 of your arrows, if you want 'em back ^_^ "
"Ya say ya did WHAT back in the war?!! WHY, YOU!!! >:o "
....now I'm imagining two barmy old Chinese codgers beating the living hell out of each other at the shuffleboard court and the nurses just have no fiking clue how to deal with them!!!! XD

Man, I keep seeing cards that I'd never expected to be reprinted in these decks.
Not a bad card, though..

I used to be a planeswalker like you, until I took 100,000 arrows in the knee.

Not bad, I think. You can pretty easily get 2 or 3 cards out of this, which these days is a pretty good draw for 3 mana (the days of Ancestral Recall are long gone).

Why did they chose this for reprint instead of Theft of Dreams?

@Iasonas
Because in EDH, which this card was printed specifically for, you can only have one copy of each card in your deck. Theft of dreams is easy to get a hold of, P3K cards are not. So now we have access to two cards with this effect instead of only one.
I've used the P3K version and Theft in many an EDH deck. If one opponent taps out swinging at another, you can profit greatly from it. Remember, it's a multiplayer format, so you don't necessarily have to play stuff like Sleep to tap someone out. Just let the other players do what they do.
