This card is great and is a true bane for all the Esper control decks in the current standard environment, it even comes as a 3/2 first striker. It is also a new great toy for Painter's Servant. I might want to do something casual with that. 4/5 to me if only it were for the Esper hose.

Using logic (One way to see white/blue spells)? In MY game? Aw hell no!

I'm the biggest red fanboy I know, but I'm still a little bummed at what I perceive to be a lack of creativity in this card's design. This might be the weakest of the enemy-color hosers in this cycle, if only because white has lifegain to potentially offset the damage that Mindsparker might do (and many white decks rely on creatures, not instants or sorceries, to win) and blue can simply counter it before it enters the battlefield. The other hosers either have a powerful ETB effect that guarantees value or they have good stats that make them a pain to deal with. Mindsparker has neither and can really only annoy people. It can't royally disrupt an opponent's game plan (Lifebane Zombie), it can't grow steadily into a devastating, irremovable beatstick (Witchstalker), and Fiendslayer Paladin trades favorably with it while also negating the two damage it might potentially deal.

Not the best of the enemy color hate creatures, but this is pretty good nonetheless. Might be worth maindecking, as a 3/2 first striker for 3 is pretty good on its own.

What the heck is going on in that art? Anyway, awesome card. Well costed, hard to block, and will ruin Esper player's days.

I'm loving this cycle of enemy-color haters. I really like the flavor, and they're all basically powerful enough to be very playable, if mostly in sideboards. Even killing it will most likely shock you.

As a straight hoser this would have to be the best card of the cycle. Red burns, dealing damage is what we do best and most. Assuming this hits early it has the potential to cause a lot of residual damage by punishing your opponents for playing a good chunk of their decks. And a 3/2 first strike body to boot, for only 3 mana.
Considering the trickiness of blue/white however, this card needs to be protected. Wild ricochet etc etc will keep him on the field and burn their face when they try to remove.
Comparing it to witchstalker and fiendslayer all around... This card shoulda had haste!
Since when did we need a reason to hate Azorius? You my dear creature shall be placed in my Izzet sideboard just for the off chance you get to annoy those pompus lawmages.

Much more PC than the original MimeSparker

Looks like it should have haste, would be so much better with haste, and it is kind of awkward that the Fiendslayer Paladin and this both have First Strike. Still solid vs control.

Well, in the past you god a 2/1 first striker for three mana. This one is 3/2 first strike for three, and got some color hosing built in. So that's obviously pretty neat.

Low cost, first strike, demolishes control, what's not to love about it?

The one extra mana over Ash Zealot should have givin it haste.
I see the cards potential, but I don't really see it as a control hoser, when Esper and Azprois will just use removal to get rid of it anyways. Who cares if they take an extra two damage? All those Sphinx's Revelations are just going to negate the damage anyway.

3/2 First Strike is pretty good for 3. The white/blue hate is delicious, delicious gravy.

Awesome card, but anything with the word "spark" in it needs to have haste.

3/2 first strike for 3 is pretty relevant in general, hosing a giant population of decks out there, including those relying on thragtusk (which ironically, use white and blue to flicker him!)
While he seems bad counter for that, he still stifles their lifegain by 40% and keeps any thrag damage from finding you until they cast an exile spell, causing them to lose more life. With multiple copies their efforts are for 3/3 tokens that can't get through or block very well.
