So this is uncommon now? So much for taking up a rare spot in that shaman/treefolk starter deck...

On the new art: This looks a lot cooler, sure, but the old one was so much more fun, simply.

It deserved to be rare in Morningtide, since both Treefolk and Shaman were supported tribes. Neither is supported in ModMast, so the tokens are slightly less relevant.

Well, it'll get a new token at least.

It's a good card though, but not powerful enough outside of treefolk decks, on top of what Atali said.

The difference in art is like the difference between Yawgmoth's Bargain and Squee, Goblin Nabob. This looks like what the effect does. The other art looks like what the art for Oakenform should've been.

How that treefolk just suddenly appeared infront of the guy only makes sense in one way, it just dropped from the sky. Knew he was chopping down trees and leap above the canopy to crash right infront of the fool. Now you too can crash mobile trees on your enemies.

Wow I love that modern masters is giving sweet new art and great new chances to make use of unsung old cards! I'd be excited to use this. ^^

Really good against Liliana of the Veil. Every turn she causes you discard you can play a forest and get this back :D

With some land tutors like Primeval Titan, this can actually turn out to be a more powerful free discard than Squee, Goblin Nabob. Generally speaking, it's far less reliable I admit, but still an interesting alternate use.

Compare to Veilborn Ghoul, which has the same trigger for swamps, and the same CMC.

This art is SO much better than the creepy molester Treefolk we got last time.
