I like this card. It's good removal against aggro decks, and it can pump big things like consuming aberration to swing for game.

This is awesome, it's literally boost OR kill for a very cheap price.
Obviously you gotta check the numbers each time, but still.

possibly the best 2 mana removal spell for esper decks in standard right now?
For the first 3-4 turns this will kill anything it can target. Lategame, Esper decks can play revelation to keep their hand full and be giving -7 toughness.
The tougher mana cost and keeping the hand full seem to be smaller restrictions than the other current 2 mana kill spells in standard. Devour flesh can be unreliable, ultimate price has a narrow range of targets, victim of night is very tough for multicolor decks and is pretty blank against jund.

I am still on the fence about this card. I'm a huge fan of Agony Warp for the same cost but able to remove 2 creatures instead of one. Given, this card can be a game winner in the late game with a 3/5 flyer converting it to being a 7/1 flyer. But removal is removal. So this is a decent combat trick or it just kills a creature right off the bat.

Fanastic removal for black/blue decks based on hand advantage and great pump for fatties. Can even take out indestructible creatures. Reliable and versitile. 4.5/5

Judging by the picture, I think it's safe to say that a creature explodes if they die from this spell
Great removal at a low price, 4/5 for me.

Given the tepid removal in Theros, this may be the best godslayer in standard.
