Hinting even more at BDS&M, look at the perspective. You'd have to have your face pushed into the ground to have that view.

I wonder what other kind of toys you could find in a Rakdos gathering... Armada Wurm?

Start that 20-turn clock, mate!

It's not like Innistrad had any!

Whips: At least they're better than darts.

Dear god, this is bad. Could have been kinda fun with a ping at creatures too.

If you can stall the game for multiple turns than this could be a nice addition, but there's so many better options. 2.44/5.

I can see it have a place in an extort deck.

They could instead, reduce gatecrash to a 248 card set and maybe just include 2 advertisement/token cards in random packs that would otherwise get this.

Or perhaps reduce random packs to 10 commons and save a tree or two.

Another card to bring Rakdos, Lord of Riots in play.

I've actually been enjoying this card. There are a lot of cards, especially in vandal blast that can take out an artifact or several but if you know your opponent is short of those you lay down four of these suckers and a good defender then watch your opponent's life points plummet.

I thought this card was horrible until I played Orzhov at the prerelease. The synergy is just too good to ignore, and I eventually sided in my second one. Having two in play when you don't have enough extort triggers to use all your mana is very useful. It isn't a 20-turn clock. It just speeds up Extort.

It's not that bad.

Your opponent won't bother targeting this, and you can dump potentially unused mana on this to sting your opponent each turn. I'd play this over Rod of Ruin any day.
Then again, i'd play pretty much anything over Rod of Ruin...

Considering its synergy with Bloodthirst, and seeing how it was the keyword of the Gruul clan in the first Ravnica block,
it does feel like this should have been there, and not in this block.

Thanks WotC! I was just pins and needles wondering when you would print a worse version of Scepter of Empires.

Still better than Rod of Ruin.

This card can win games in Limited. Remember all the times you have mana laying around every turn, and nothing to do with it? Yeah. Remember all the times you were in a stalemate for several turns due to blocking, and your aggressive or controlling deck didn't have enough power to push through for that last few life points? Yeah.

This has won me games in Limited. Do not underestimate it. In constructed play, not nearly as useful, but this card certainly isn't a last pick in Limited.

This card is way better than a lot of you guys are giving it credit for, the problem is that it doesn't fit this block and would be much better combined with bloodthirst. If I had a bloodthirst deck I could see including this card for sure, pretty comparable to Scepter of Empires.

This isn't as bad as a lot of you guys make it out to be. This card has often provided me the last points of damage needed to win a game, it helps keep the extort decks within reach and it doesn't die to removal (because no-one runs Shattering Blow in limited). A creature will often times be better, but then again, this is unblockable, cheap and consistent damage. Mind you, a free point of damage per turn can quickly add up.

This is a great Gruul card. It goes so well with Bloodthi-

Oh, yeah. This sucks.

Somewhere someone is brewing a very evil control deck with exactly one copy of this card as its win condition. The weakness of a card like Aetherling is that it has some level of mercy. The fact that you can use Razortip Whip as a 20-turn clock is just so deliciously wrong. If you are the person who makes this deck, when you play this card, you need to remember to say in your most evil voice, "It's going to be a very long game for you, my friend."

Top Control

The gameplan is to control what both players draw, preventing the opponent to draw anything useful. The primary wincon is slowly and painfully milling the opponent. A lot of people complained that once locked it gets boring until I actually mill them, so we added Tezz (Bolas) as a 1off wincon to speed up their inevitable loss. The problem is I can only add 1 wincon to maintain the lock consistency. Last week I switched tezz for razortip whip, just for fun & giggles. Best rage quits I've ever seen.
