Combine with Ob Nixilis, The Fallen and Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. At least, I'm hoping to in my B/G deck centered on those two and landfetch. Wipe the opponent's board, start putting lands back down to feed Ob and pump Korlash. Don't forget to return the ones you tapped; one comes back open, making it essentially cost 1 colorless =)

Quite nice with Landfall mechanics also. You don't have to return so many that your mana would be hindered but in late game when you no longer have lands in hand you could use this to destroy creatures and still able to do landfall.

I really like @Cyberium's late game landfall idea. Besides Ob Nixilis, The Fallen this card would combine well with Bloodghast equipped with Basilisk Collar. It might be even better with Quietus Spike. That way your opponent could see what will happen in a couple turns once their creatures are cleared out of the way unless they respond somehow.
