The best fog variant ever in my book. If you're in black/white Batwing Brume is also a powerful choice.

I agree, it is the best fog to be printed so far. It shuts down your opponent's attack for eight turns on the cheap. Great defensive cards are hard to come by in magic, but this here is a shining example.

The best preventing damage spell ever.

Heck yes best Fog evar! Nothing like crapping your entire hand into your graveyard to fuel your Wild Mongrel, then watching your opponent swing with everything since they think you're defenseless.

This card is awesome. Fog is such a good card, but the reason why it's not played in every deck is because it's a one time use only. I'll definitely spend 3 more mana if I can get twice as many uses out of my fog per card.

Not the best Fog variant, I think Tangle might be slightly better. Still awesome though. It was the missing piece to an Invasion/Oddyssey deck I cobbled together from cards I had lying around.

Guys, while this is a good card, I'm pretty sure the best Fog variant is Constant Mists.

@achilleselbow - Depends on your deck. Something that can swing for damage is better off with Tangle. A more control oriented deck benefits more from the Flashback, and yes - control decks can use green.

This card has superior card advantage. I really hate it when my opponent has extra fogs because it forces me to overexert myself to force my opponent to use it.
most of the time, take an extra turn with flashback..
PS I miss rebecca guay doing art for magic.

I loved this card when I discovered it, because i knew it could be used as 8 Fogs(!), because the Flashback has saved me many a time.

This card is a nightmare for your opponent. By far the best Fog variant, it can be used twice or tossed to a discard engine like Wild Mongrel and cast from your graveyard anyway.

I actually like this more than Fog. Yes, it costs more (and more for the flashback), but the fact that you can use it twice is amazing — especially if your opponent forgets you have it.

i don't care if it cost more than fog it has flashback and the art isn't so "foggy"
