I read in a magazine once that this card was good. I played it a LOT. I very rarely got hurt by the drawback. Looking at it now, in 2010... bah, I'd STILL play it.

I would make you regret that move ZEvilMustache but then again, I play alot of removal, it is decent size for cost however so don't be discouraged completly... PUTRIFY!! ok, now be sad. lol.

I ran four of these in my U/W Permission deck...never had cause to regret it. Fun card for it's day.

Maybe this is nothing to write home about now, but back then, it was an above-average body for 3 mana of ANY color, allowing decks which badly needed creatures an option that survived Incinerate and Terror.
