Tri-lands. Not something WotC attempts often, something they get right even less.

The card says it taps for Blue, White, and Black. The orcale text says it taps for blue, green, and black. Is the oracle text wrong or did they ret-con the card to produce different colors of mana?

The card says it produces white, green, and blue. Oracle says it produces white, green, and blue. There is no error.
The problem, Nurro, is that the text is so dark and blurry that the {G} symbol looks like the {B} symbol. I was fooled the same way you were.

This is a pretty bad gift Serra.

This terrible card is a good example to newer players of why MTG went through a 'dark period' around the time of the awful Homelands expansion.
Thankfully, those days seem to be far behind us now.

Wizards finally learned how to make tri-lands in Alara. Good riddance Homelands.

I miss these cards, when decently strong tri-lands could come into play untapped and you could use them right away. The speed you get from this coming into play untapped and the power and versatility of a land that produces 3 colors is a purely broken concept that is balanced by the slight drawback of having to pay an obscene amount of mana

I liked Homelands. Lots of interesting story and flavor and some cool legends. Even when cards like Ishan's Shade and Autumn Willow were rocking though, Homeland's land sucked.

For those who claim Seaside Citadel(or its counterparts) is strictly better than this card(Or it's counterparts) seem to be forgetting that you can tap these for colorless the same turn you play them, whereas you need to wait a turn before getting any(although remarkably superior) use out of Seaside Citadel.

Hey! I got one of these! It is white, green and blue. This is only like the 56th worst card in Homelands!

@LeafWheels, if you miss these, then you might try the strictly-better Shimmering Grotto or Unstable Frontier. Both of those can give you any color, without ever having to pay to get it.
And really, doesn't having to pay obscene amounts of mana rather defeat the whole purpose of lands?
Serra's people should send this in to whydidyoubuymethat dot com

Horrible, as was this entire cycle of lands. Still beats Sorrow's Path, but that's not saying much!

I was reading this card and thinking to my self "holy cow, that is a really bad card! Why would they print something that useless?!" Then I saw the expansion symbol.

Gee THANKS Serra. You passive aggressive ***. I know my present that I got you for your birthday wasn't THAT great, but you don't have to attack me like this like a child.

It would take this and two other cards in a combo to make this playable, which is still kinda ridiculous. Any of the Zendikon cards that can make a land into a creature, such as Crusher Zendikon, and Heartstone.

Exactly what one should expect from Homelands.

At least it doesnt come into play tapped, but they overestimated this land back then and shimmering grotto outclasses the entire cycle.

*sighs* another land that falls victim to the issue of costing to filter.
"If it was ", : add , , or to your mana pool" then as a filter land, it'd be all right - coming into play untapped especially - and more useful than it ended up being because of its design.
