Wow, this card got alot better with the errata to "soldiers and warriors" instead of hero's. Almost playable.

yeah if thats true this card would be pretty damn good in a soldier deck like the doubtless or heedless ones from onslaught block

could easily be a 5/5 when cast and will only get bigger as you swell your ranks

I would certainly consider this in a soldier deck now, especially if it was carrying a fireshrieker or Loxodon Warhammer

This card is especially weird considering there were maybe three "summon hero(es)" cards in the entire game at this point. The errata makes it a heck of a lot more powerful than it was intended (which is about the only way a Homelands card ends up being playable).

It's a knight that benefits from a creature type often found in white, a creature type often found in red and green, and is not even among those creature types. How very interesting.

I miss art like this one has.

Interesting... This went from typical Homelands junk (As there were 2-3 heroes in existence at this point in the game) to a creature that could be a giant beatstick. It still needs evasion, but it is no longer 'bad.'

Makes the creature type update important to understand, unfortunately.

Probably the greatest winner of the great creature reunification!!

Went from a completely unsupported creature type dependent on a hardly supported creature type...

to a well-supported double creature type interacting with one excellent and one good creature type!

It's actually... kinda fair. It's like one of those Xless One Avatars (Reckless One, Soulless One, Heedless One...) in slightly worse, but better than the majority of Homelands.

I remember when it first came out, and we were all scratching our heads. "number of Heroes you control"? We were convinced that must have been a misprint, and they really meant "all legends" or "all soldiers" or something. They really did mean all heroes, though, because Benalish Hero from this era was a Summon Hero. Remember her? Yeah, some of us do.
