wow, I've heard of cards interacting badly with each other but this is one of the few that interacts badly with itself.

Combos with Cathodion and Myr Moonvessel.
Just add a sac engine and go to town with infinite shenanigans.

Awesome synergy with krovikan horror. :)
The first ability of decaying soil makes sure you can keep recurring the krovikan horrors, by exiling any non-creature cards above them.
The second ability lets you return any creatures you sac to the horror back to your hand.
And the horrors ability to sacrifice creatures allows you to reach threshold quickly.

Well well well, now here's an interesting little gem. Makes Threshold hard as hell to maintain, but potentially well worth it.
