It's not like green has a shortage of good two-drops but this along with Scryb Sprites are about the best the colour could ever really expect from flying weenies and I certainly couldn't see either of them getting printed today.
Quite good, considering it's flying in green, if you need that sort of thing.
The problem with green creatures that are "quite good" is that there are plenty of common green creatures that are better. These are far from bad but not quite as good as other green 2-drops like Seeker of Skybreak, Elvish Archers, Elvish Warrior. And Scryb Sprites, the other cheap green flier, is usually forsaken in favor of Llanowar Elves, Birds of Paradise, etc.
So decent, and actually pretty good, just not good enough. 3.5/5

Oh, Willow Faerie. When I was first getting into the game, I combined these gals with Giant Growth to block my friend's Serra Angels. The angel would die; the faerie would survive. What a great little combo. For a time, I called Willow Faerie: "Serra Angel killers."
Yeah, we shouldn't underestimate the value and effectiveness of small, cheap, and cost-efficient flyers in the color of green; which is master at creature-boost. ;)
I gotta go with 3/5. A creature like this holds a special place for green, which doesn't have a whole lot in the realm of flyers. Also, in terms of combat stats and ability, it's darned cost-efficient (yes, the blue knock-off Storm Crow is as cost-efficient - though, due to its color and due to its place in its color, the Crow deserves more like a 2 or a 2.5). Furthermore, as I stated above, Green is great at efficient and effective creature boost, augmenting the efficiency of small creatures that are efficient in their own rights. Any time you can destroy a Serra Angel (or other creatures of similar value and effectiveness) for only and one card from your hand (after having a creature already in play), is a very good time.

Hmmm, so Storm Crow and Chimney Imp are actually part of a cycle. Just look up 1/2 flyers, you'll know which ones are overpowered when you see them.

wrong card art; the real art depicts a half-naked, very gay looking fairies holding an acorn right behind his butt. It is easily the gayest looking magic card, and it's shameful of wizards to hide the art on gatherer. Google it guys, its a funny picture.
I brought in 10 gay willow faeries to work and spread them around for hilarity's sake

This version has the wrong card picture.
Addenda: It's not just the art that is wrong it's the whole picture of the card. You can recognise it by comparing the flavor text on the card picture with the Oracle text. You can check the right card image from any site that sells MtG singles like magiccardmarket.eu for example.

I really like the simplicity of this card.
