Zombie tribal, and black in general, has better one drops, notably Festering Goblin and Carnophage. This card isn't bad, but it only matters if your opponent is playing graveyard based effects or if you are playing things which check their graveyard like Gravestorm or Web of Inertia. In other words, solid but situational.

this guy is the worst zombie ever! i mean, his ability is so useless, even as a zombie. look at withered wretch. or even better just throw in a tormod's crypt. it's a shame because the artwork and name are so rad...

It only costs one, and it can get rid of things like Unhallowed Cathar before they can come back. Very nice against reanimate, too.
