I have hillarious visions of putting this on something like Lord of the Pit and then dropping a phantasmal terrain on the other guy. Obscure and inneficient, sure, but damn it would be funny.

Merfolk Assassin made this somewhat useful for creature elimination. Blue's options were always limited in that area.
