Very fun creature for non-competitive multiplayer game. My friends hate it although he's not that dangerous :)

Meh, I rated it a 3 or so, but the fact that it relies on you having four lands to use its ability, two of which will probably only clutter the deck, really undermines it's usefulness

If you understand the set it is in, it is really useful. This was during the invasion/planeshift/apocalypse block - red white green was a dragon - rith. So it was common for those color decks.

Step 1; build a snow deck. Step 2; aim an enormous Skred or a suspended Shivan Meteor at this. Step 3; bounce said enormous Skred or Meteor onto opponent. Step 4; repeat steps 2 -3 until you win.
It's too bad that single red mana keeps him from being included in a Doran, the Siege Tower EDH deck. The ability is a nice deterrent in multiplayer, especially with a lot of fatties on the board. Sort of like a Boros Reckoner but with a full on redirect of the damage instead of copying it.
