This is tailor made for a B/W bleeder deck. Works just like a pacifism, but you can also use it to kill utility stuff.

I used it in a deck where I put a crapload of pacifism type effects. It actually wasn't a bad deck, it was kind of fun to play.

This suffers from the same problem as Kavu Glider: If you want to make use of both abilities, you have to play this card in three-colored decks, but there's one ability on the card that you want to activate more than once in a turn, which is hard in three-colored decks.. However, Tainted Peak + Tainted Field can help you! :) Also, why do people here compare this card with other cards that ~can't~ destroy creatures? Prison Term doesn't remove Soul Warden.. As we're in red/white/black colors, I'd rather compare this card with Terminate! :)

@kryptnyt: It doesn't sound very fun to play against, though. :)

In any case, this is mostly just worse than Pacifism, but the ability to stop something from attacking is pretty good, and the -1/-1 ability is a nice bonus.
