It's a boomerang, doomblade (even slightly better since it includes terror's non-regeneration clause), or a shatter. Any of the effects can be pivotal, and the first option means that even if there are no creatures or artifacts on the opponent's end of the field, you can at the very least bounce a land.

A study in versatility, it kills most things outright and can always at least hinder the rest.

If I may be a kill joy for a minute, this should be spelt "Crosis' Charm". Sorry about that :P
Anywho; like any good charm, there is never a situation where this won't be useful. The fact that all three effects are actually practical, and better yet, reasonable, at the cost makes this one of the better charms printed to date.

So Boomerang, Terminate, or Shatter for 3 CMC. It's more worth playing than the others.

1) The second effect is Dark Banishing. 2) The name seems perfectly fine as Crosis's Charm. "Crosis" is not a plural, nor does it resemble one.
...Sorry. Card is 3/5. It's never a terrible draw but it has a hard time getting a slot in any real deck. At least Grixis Charm can proactively dole out a beating if you have a decent-sized horde.

@ Hairless Thoctar I believe Crosis's is correct as long as Crosis is a person. lol I can't remember this far back, but I believe he was.
This card is quite handy, or at least it was.

crosis was an elder dragon, a legendary creature, so yes, crosis most definitly is a character's name.
I only have one of these I wish I had 3 more. simply put, this is THE best charm out of ANY of the multicolored charms ever printed.

Answer target permanent without protection from blue, from black, or from red. A much more versatlie card than Grixis Charm.

@nibelheim_valesti: I agree with you on point 1 and 2, but card deserves at least 4 stars for sheer flexibility, let alone the fact that it's an instant. If you're playing EDH in these colors, this card is solid gold and you should never hesitate to put it in your deck. I'd probably play this in a regular deck too. Sure, it's an overpriced Doomblade, but it's also a Boomerang or a Shatter when need be, and all that for a mere 3 mana.
