I'm always a fan of the Avatar cycle. While it does feel a little Black, I understand that they wanted to design this Avatar with a cards-in-hand vibe, as the Avatar of Woe went with the cards-in-graveyard feel, which was more distinctly black. Cards-in-hand seems like a very blue feature, but there's a lot of things they COULDN'T do with that direction. If they made it trigger off of you having no cards in your hand, that'd be a more Red hand-emptying strategy. If they had it trigger off of you or an opponent having a larger number of cards in hand, it becomes incredibly easy for it to trigger. This was the simplist option for the design.
Also, yes, rk post is awesome.

Guys named Will should not confuse this with Avatar of Me.

This card confuses me... blue is not really the "no cards in hand" color, even when it refers to opponent...
I dont know what a better wording for this guy would be, but this isn't it...
perhaps if you draw more than four cards in one turn?

i would have to say the worst of the avatars, though it is fairly easy to get off, unlike some of the other ones.
and i agree with Anumisisking, Trigering based on your number of draws would be nice, or if you have more than 7 cards in hand, as a lot of controll decks can wind up haveing.

I do like this card. Would work well in a Blue/Black Discard deck thanks to time spiral block. In time spiral there where lots of blue cards that made your opponent discard cards. Then in the Ravnica block there was a good amount of blue black discard based cards as well. This Card DOES have a home in a few decks, and isn't too bad for just putting in a blue deck for casual play.

I played it with Parallax Nexus, 2-0 against Sligh, never played this deck again. ;)

Murders Hellbent? I guess hellbent colors (R and B) will have enought answers to murder this instead...

The only Avatar of the cycle not to be reprinted now.

Blue is reds enemy and red is the color that empties it's hand fastest, ergo this is very blue in its execution.
I loved comboing Will with Suppress in fun Blue/Black decks back in the day.

They should gone with; If you have 10 or more cards in your hand, ~ costs less to cast. Not so easy to break, requires spending a card slot on Spellbook or something.
A few hours of playtesting will tell you if 10 cards + is to easy. If so increase it to 11, and rinse and repeat.

Getting a black planeshifted version of this would be nuts.
