Oh come on, this is not 2.7 stars. It's a 3/6 for friggen 3 in blue.
Need I remind you what blue could get for 3 at a common level in other blocks?
Oh, and Dismember-proof. Which is odd, since it's already headless...

This is good, great even, but it's not going to be the star of whatever Zombie deck gets on top. There are even brokener zombies for that. :p

surprisingly powerful in limited. blocks almost everything, immune to most removal (even brimstone volley) and hits decently hard for only 3 mana in blue. Deserves a higher rating.

We all know that in order to kill a zombie, you have to smash his head somehow. So, how the hell can this be killed?

Soulda had the line "Protection from Go for the Throat".

that's a lot of creature for 3-mana.

This is really pretty good for a common. It has a big, hard-to-remove body, although it hits for a modest amount. The fact that it only takes one colored mana is a strong point in its favor. It's fine for limited, because the current limited format means you're probably going to have creatures in your graveyard fairly early.
Good for limited, marginal for constructed, 3/5.

Will never see constructed. Absolutely savage in a draft.

Gosh, this is absolutely terrible.

@Subtle_Kay - How so? Chances are you're going to have something in the graveyard by that time (chump blocking, Furnace Scamp, Phantasmal Bear, Vexing Devil, etc.), so the first part is moot; the second part is just a speed bump, since you probably don't want it attacking (unless it can get through easily).

Seriously powerful in for 3 mana. I don't like that it comes in tapped. I guess there's flavor there (zombies are always slow and shambling, right?) Still, there are blue zombies I'd choose over this one.

handles thragtusk. The additional cost is an issue if you're running a non-aggro deck. And this card is best in a non-aggro deck.

I came across this using the random card function and tried to figure out where its head was before I read the card name :/

Behold the great killer of the infamous thragtusk.
