While I do prefer Moan of the Unhallowed, this is good if you wanna flash it back pretty reasonably...or you could, you know, just get both off the moan

A Diregraf Ghoul is practically the same exact thing for 2 less mana.

The only way this would have seen constructed play, maybe, is if it was instant speed. It would have been able to compete with Midnight Haunting in terms of cost to power and be reusable when you have nothing else to cast or to cast at the end of your opponent's turn.

Scathe Zombies, with an option for making another Zombie. Still quite meh.

I like the use of flashback to tell a story through mechanics.

I think a flashback of U would have been cool. Selfmill would have got a cheap but powerful selfmill card, where black just gets a normal average costed zombie. a blue black on the other hand, gets a moan of the unhallowed that can be cast a turn earlier.

Wow I was thinking this was on par with Moan of the Unhallowed because I thought it said Instant. I don't like this card =(

Decent at best. It's a bit more reasonable to flashback than Moan, though.

Obviously, not very good for constructed; however, I had it used against me in limited and found it, if not imposing, at least more than a little annoying.

I can't get two zombies from the flashback? I thought we had a thing goin' here??? Looks like we lost momentum.

Sorry to dash your dreams, but not all zombie-creating sorceries are awesome!

I wish the flashback cost was more reasonable, as that would justify the first cast of this being so much less efficient than Moan of the Unhallowed. That way, it would be a decent freebie blocker when you self-mill it into the yard.

not terrible, but as many have said, Moan of the Unhallowed is generally a better choice.

Everyone seems to think this pales in comparison to Moan of the Unhallowed. But this card can complement any deck that plays Moan. That is, this card can fill the 3 and 5 CMC spots while Moan fills the 4 and 7 slots. Sure, there are better spells out there for black zombies at 3 CMC, but this is certainly better than Scathe Zombies...

Underrated. Pretty decent in limited. Agreed that instant would really help this card shine.

This card is not Moan of the Unhallowed, however Moan is VERY good. I am never sad to have this in my limited deck, and I have been known to take it second or third. A two for one is a two for one after all.

Why run Moan of the Unhallowed instead? Why not run them both? Now you can have 8 cards that gets you zombie tokens and have flashback.

Nah, I'd rather use an actual creature card so I can exile it for numerous other Zombie effects. Cool concept though.
