Great card. I run four of them to ensure a land drop every turn and prevent late land draw. I'm glad it was reprinted.

Not a bad card, but a somewhat odd choice for a single-color Dragon deck. The Thran Dynamo in the Archenemy Dragon pre-built made more sense.

This seems pretty powerful - probably competes with Darksteel Ingot (and even Gilded Lotus) among artifacts that support multi-colored efforts - which can be more helpful or simply better in many decks than Green's abilities to provide similar assistance (because, for one thing, not all multi-colored decks are able or wanting to include Green).

However, in decks that do contain Green - and even in mono-Green decks - the Sphere has great synergy with the solid and playable Explore.

Can be useful for colorfixing in draft, but unplayable pretty much anywhere else.

Something very nice about this is that it prevents you from missing your third turn land drop if you were going to. (Drop this t2. crack it t3 if you didn't draw a land.) meaning it helps not only with color screw and things, but it helps with mulligans and such.

Colorless, card advantage, deck thinning. I'm thinking of possibly replacing some lands in a deck with this. Need a powerful 1-drop to do that though; maybe Steppe Lynx :D
