All of these "choose one" spells are infinitely better in a mono colored deck. I love options with my burn.

I'm surprised that the picture doesn't show an angel being shot, given how predominant they are in the set. (then again, many of them are beyond the 4 damage range)

Good to see this back. Not that it looks like RDW is going to need it.

maybe its archwing dragon. if so, how unlucky for him to get hit with all those angels and demons flying around.

Maybe the picture is showing what happened to many of the non-angels that WERE flying around.

Are none of you reading the flavour text? Also, notice the metal. This is clearly a skaab that was shot down. But yes, brilliant card.

I'd rather this be and "Deal 3 damage to target player or creature without flying...", but this is pretty good regardless.
Interestingly enough, real creatures, when flying, are immune to the effects of lightning, since you have to be grounded to feel the effects of electricity, so basically the second half of this effect is entirely backwards (same with Pokémon; Ground should be weak to Electricity and Flying should be immune to it, in opposition to how it is today).

If your deck struggles against flying (and for some reason you don't want to run Lightning Bolt) than this is your burn. Otherwise, you may want to pick Searing Spear for its versatility.

This needs to have entwine. Why did entwine die out?

Oh how satisfying it is to cast this on a Platinum Angel while the smug grin is still fresh on an opponent's face from casting it.
