This lady saved my ass in a game at the pre-release today.
I had a lot of big beaters out, all my opponent has left is a 7/7 Champion of Lambholt which I'm unable to block.
I'm at 9 life, he still has a lot more, even alpha striking him will not kill him yet - but the next turn.
And then I topdeck this lovely lady and play her, netting me 6 life and getting me back to 15.
My opponent groans. I attack, smash him down to a few life. His turn, he draws... and folds.
Why?
He had Revenge of the Hunted on hand and even the mana to hardcast it. He had the hope to draw his second Revenge of the Hunted and miracle it - but he did not draw it. So he would only deal me 13, whereas my next attack would totally kill him...
Oh, and in another game, I managed to get her back with Defy Death, my opponent died, and I had 30 life. :P

One of the few angel arts from Avacyn Restored that I don't like. Huh.
Effect is nice enough, though. Reminds me of Filigree Angel.

This card saved me yesterday. I had four life, then I got this out when I had out five creatures, two of which were Soul's Attendant and the rest were angels. One Soul's Attendant was enchanted with Call to Serve and I attacked with fourteen in the air, my opponent couldn't block, and I won. 5/5

Can someone tell me what she is holding in her right hand? It looks like a string of tethered scrolls to me. I'm sure there is some deeper meaning to it that the artist was trying to convey.

In an angel/human deck, lots of little human tokens really ramps up her lifegain power. Play her late in the game when you've played all four of your Gather the Townsfolk and Captain's Call. Fun times.

This Angel will save your butt. trust me, if you have creatures out, you will NOT regret casting out. at worst, shes a 4/4 flier, at best, shes a 4/4 flier that nets you so much life you can give some to a bum outside your door!

Good with Human-Angel re-animator. Use Angel of GR to bring back your humans, with Kessig Malcontents in there for damage then this to recoup life.
