Good card for how easily it can be recurred. However, in this deck... not so much. The recurrence ability is also only so good. You could probably get better easily.

The new border style looks really good with this card.

Gotta say I'm not particularly fond of this guy. There's plenty of ways to get 2 damage that don't involve saccing a land, and I'm not fond of lands that charge me 1 life per turn for doing nothing more than a mountain does. I can see it being useful in the right deck (maybe a dreadge/life from the loam?), but I don't think this F&L basic burn deck is it.
If they'd taken the tap requirement out of the second ability, so you could power its kamikaze with its own mana, that'd make for interesting interactions.

@ Magnor_criol Obviusly this card is only worth for a burn deck where you don't need more than 3 or 4 lands and you want to kill as fast as possible and you don't mind your life loss. the main problem is getting the threshold

Hmm, not a fan of this. its semi useful late in the game, but much better nonbasic lands out there to give you a red mana or two.

Yet another thing made slightly better by Tamanoa. It's like Shock in a can.

This looks incredible foil. I bet. I've never seen one.

I played with one of these in my Crucilbe of worlds deck, with fastbond and Zuran Orb out this thing killed alot of people, the blue version milled their decks away.

I'd rather pack fireblast and not have to eat the 1 damage ping every time I tap the land... because that can be pretty annoying early game.

Perhaps not the best fit for this deck, this card works best in a straight burn deck where you run no creatures and try to get to 20 damage asap.

Keep in mind that this is COLORLESS burn. That's actually quite a bit deal for RDW when a lame 2CMC pro-red creature hits. Getting rid of that is important if you want your Marauder's, elementals, hasty gobbos to hit.

Okay, I am doing to do this on this card as well. I already commented on Sapseep Forest. Before you get your pants in a jiffy for linking to a Green mana source card, I might point out that they new Werewolf type is that relays on both filling the grave (in some builds) and playing a limited number of spells per turn.
Benefits: One of the few special land that DOESN'T come into play tapped, meaning it won't slow you down at all just for having it out first turn other then that one damage. In mid-late game, you can ditch a mana to deal 2 points of damage to anything on the board, great for killing off weak utility and other such cards.
Weakness: The one damage every time you tape it for Mana adds up. By the time you actually have 7 cards in the Graveyard, there will more then likely be turn 4 or 5, meaning you have given a 4 or 5 handicap over to your opponent for using this first turn, but it's usefulness is more for the "Burn 2 per turn" anyway instead of anything else I think. (Edit) You also need to sacrifice it, making that possible 4-5 damage a one time use for 2 damage, not worth it.
Rating: 2.5/5.0 - It's not worth it, I misread and skipped over "Sacrifice" there are far better cards then this.

Say, was this not in battlegrounds?

Once a control player stabilizes against your burn deck at 2 life, you'll start running these.

Definitely a great land in a burn deck. 1) Does not come into play tapped. 2) Burn is a big race anyways, 2-3 life is not going to hurt unless against another burn deck. 3) Can give you an extra 2 points reach from your land
