@Kryptnyt, not quite. According to Oracle wording, he gives the +1/+1 bonus to all other birds, he dosn't get the bonus himself.

Hes expensive and dies to removal a lot but... birds ftw. And nice, now he benefits from the Aerie, that he's a bird wizard himself... @A3Kitsune; I meant Soulcatchers' Aerie (quintessential bird tribal card). But yeah, he's still puny by himself.

Quite fun with Dovescape if you outproduce your opponents!

Hm. Would this technically be quadrupled by Doubling Season or Gilded? It would double the number of Feather Counters, then theoretically double the number of +1/+1s those counters produced, right? Scratch that! I didn't see that it doesn't create actual +1/+1 Counters, just the boost itself >.> My bad! That would be pretty wild I guess. As it is, I can't really tell if this card is worth it. It's a pretty enormous cost, and not remotely worth summoning unkicked.

Impractical alone, but can be given more feather counters with Aven Mimeomancer.

oh birds, you could have been such an awesome tribal type. But at this point in time UW wasn't well known as a mana engine, and to get even one feather token on kangee you'd have to drop a whopping 7 mana. Where did you get that kind of mana in invasion era UW?

Hmm, could be bird tribal commander material

wow, feather counters seem pretty awesome. Out of all the cards that have them he is the lowest rated at 3.5, thats pretty high for the lowest.

I have this in my bird deck with Aven Mimeomancer and Thrumming Bird. This makes it a lot easier to build up more counters on him.
This thing turns Storm Crow from Monster to a Violent Demon.

@Arachnos: But he's also been errata'd to read 'other bird creatures', so he does not benefit himself.

He really doesn't benefit himself? Wtf kind of *** is that? Like he wasn't expensive enough for what he does, damn piece of junk.

A sweet idea, but unfortunately, the immense cost doesn't really make him worth it... Just to give your birds all +3/+3 will cost 9 mana! Plus then he just gets removed...

Becomes a Bird Lord for a mere... 7 mana..
Obviously much better if you've combo'd him to get his counters or are running a slower control deck. 3/5 even with him combo potential IMO.

@PEVE_O This isn't multi-kicker at all. Multi-kicker says that if you pay something N times, you get the effect N times. This says that if you pay for it N+2 times, you get it N times. That can't be expressed as a multi-kicker.

So you got to at least pay to make this guy a 3/3 +1/+1 lord. Way to expensive, if you had that kind of mana just end the freaking game.
