Solid card. Unfortunately, it can't pack the same punch as its brethren, Nimble Mongoose, which is why it isn't used as much as the latter in legacy/vintage. Still, a solid and underrated card.

@Nate: Why not use both? Then you can build yourself a Mongoose tribal deck. Mongoose, Mongoose, Mongoose.
Also, the Mongoose may have achieved light speed, according to the flavour text (it's gone warp!), but it's still slower than anything with Haste. Huh.
Anyway, while I tend to perfer Silhana Ledgewalker for the same cost - mostly for it's troll-shroud pumpability and tricksy near-unblockablity - "can't be countered" is a lovely line of text in it's own right. It almost looks like a color hoser without BEING a color hoser, which is just perfect. It's perhaps not a Great Sable Stag, but it's solid, and it gets so many bonus points for actually being (and remaining) a Mongoose.
It seems like the sole purpose of this card is to confuse or hoodwink folks like Laguz, 'cause you have to admit remembering which is which between Nimble Mongoose (Legacy powerhouse) and Blurred Mongoose (meh critter) is hard.
