It's also a politics card in multiplayer. That always wins me over.

It's also playable alongside powerhouses such as Mishra's Workshop , Ancestral Recall, and Yawgmoth's Will so I'd guess Spike probably likes it too.

I'm not a fan.

How often do you need to destroy more than one enchantment? The alternate casting cost might as well not exist.
