Better than Llanowar Elves in any game you can expect to run long.

The 2 power makes it better for bashing face and a better recipient for any sort of auras or equipment for better bashing.

I think I would ultimately prefer Werebear though.

I kind of like it. Quite honestly, it'd do better with another ability, like Reach.

Not a bad card by any means, but the tempo of playing a Llanowar or Fyndhorn Elves on turn one is just too sweet. The earlier mana-producers show up, particularly ones that only make one mana, the better.
