And I also like it better than foresee. I don't have a reasonable explanation for it, but 3 seems much better than 4.

Seems pretty decent to me, though it kind of sucks that it's a Socery.
Which brings me to saying to apaxton-11 that no, Inspiration is much better because you can wait to see what your opponent does, then if you didn't need to counter something of theirs, or use one of your creature's abilities, you get 2 cards and start your turn full power.

Listen carefully. They will never make a perfect card draw spell. There is no way they can make it so you can get multiple cards cheaply. 2 for 3 mana is about as good as it will get especially at common. This card is to show card draw at its most basic form and it does that perfectly.

I want Counsel of the Soratami back. Just because I like it's flavor more. Gaining knowledge from people from the moon.

Eh, I feel that Tezzeret's Gambit is almost strictly better.
Notice the "almost" in that statement.

You don't even need to make it dig for one card more (Compulsive Research) to make it overpowered. Just add an equally useful mode (Mulldrifter) and watch it dominate the field. This is blue's Grizzly Bears, but it's much closer to playability than Bears.
Meh, much preferred Foresee, paying 3 mana to be one card ahead just isn't worth it when playing a colour which requires excess mana for counters.

I have to say I think I prefer this one. Maybe not quite as effective, but a little simpler and plays one turn earlier.

to those whose wondering why hes using a birdbath to find his keys. Divination is a psychic ability that lets a person get information about a specific place, object, or person through a bowl of liquid.

If you think it is better than Foresee, then you're a noob. Scry 4 usually makes you win a game, because you look at four cards and get the one which wins you a game. If it isn't there, you can always put all of them at the bottom and draw two other cards. Divination is very random, you may draw two lands in a late game, and that is not what you want.

Nothing says fail like spending a turn casting this, or waiting until turn 5 to draw 2 cards and still have countermagic up.
Stick an Ancestral Recall in an Iscochron Scepter and then stick a fork in your opponent.

Even though I'm not the best, I'm super competitive. So this card is a bit bogus. I'm with itsverystrange on the 1 less CMC idea.
