Not even the Tezzeret flavor text can redeem this guy.

Not too bad. Stormfront Pegasus is pretty good in limited, and a version that can be played in any color isn't too bad. The 2 life payment might not even matter that much because 1/3 of the decks you face will probably be infect anyway, which means the 2 life loss is irrelevant.

what's with the 2.0 rating? this is SO CRAZY in limited. I had two in my pool at prerelease today and wished for two more. it definitely makes aggro with trespassing souleater in BLUE.

yeah this guy is way better than his rating suggests

Actually quite useful in limited if you're going for any sort of metalcraft.

2 mana 2/1 flying artifact creature? What is wrong with you people? This thing is great.

@healingbolt My thoughts exactly.
You guys don't want em? Give 'em here, I'll wreck your face with 'em. And I don't even have to be playing blue! Heck this guy is almost as good at pushing damage through in sealed as porcelain legionnaire.
How often are you going to have something in the air on turn 2? Anything you could possibly have would only trade with it, and chances are you have nothing.
This guy usually gets some good beats in, and sets off metalcraft, if you're into that.

For flavor reasons I wish you could have gotten this out for 0 with Phyrexian mana.

Meh. A 2/1 flier for 2 mana and 2 life is exciting for no color.

trying this with Grand Architect - he's blue, so he gets +1/+1 and can tap for 2, plus he's an artifact so he can be cast by the Architect
turn 3, a 3/2 flying mana guy is pretty good, right?

Running a Grand Architect deck predisposes me strongly towards artifact creatures that are also blue creatures. But this just isn't a good card.

Almost totally worse then Hovermyr

A 2/1 for two in Blue is pretty good, particularly, without much of a drawback. In a Green or Red, it's amazing.

pedrodyl, I think you're thinking about Spellskite In any case, this french vanilla isn't that enticing, especially at 3 mana. Sure he is great in limited, but since constructed is more widely played, I'm going to have to rate this card at the low end of the scale

Being a Blue artifact-creature makes this card sick with Grand Architect.

A 2/1 flyer for 2 in green? I approve.

I'm actually confused. Would you rather play this, or Vault Skirge?

They sort of did that already: Phyrexian Walker.
