half a ball lightning, twice the mana. Flame Javelin explains why its so expensive. one red= 2 colorless.

If one red=2 colorless then I want a 6/1 with some trampley goodness

Average card at best, but you have got to love the flavor and name. Imagine a corpse-like leonin equipped with this thing stalking some innocent myr for its parts, than pouncing, killing it instantly. Fun to say too. Sounds like an undead Hobbes.

Its an expensive casting cost, but it has to be said- the equip is really cheap! 3 would have been reasonable. Point and laugh at Warlord's Axe and watch it mope away in shame.

I don't think this card is too shabby; once you get it onto the field, you've got a nice weapon with a very attractive equip cost. I honestly would put this in a deck.

Should be a great limited pick.

This is a tremendous card in limited or draft. It'll have a huge impact no matter what; attack with it the turn in comes in and either deal them 3 or knock out a creature.

I think this is pretty solid, honestly.
That in the upper right is a bit of a turn-off,
But the near the word "Equip" is definitely pretty,
Which is below something just as pretty: "Living Weapon"
3/5, I'd say.

The 6 in the top is a huge turn-off though. I love paying 2 to give my guy +3/+1 and haste, that's awesome. But 6 for the initial payment hurts unless you managed to draft lots of ramp. (In which case, go for it.)

Saved me a couple times at the prerelease. Far too expensive to ever consider throwing in any of my decks, though.

Given the huge amount of artifact and equipment Sneak-Into-The-Battlefield cards, the 6 at the top really doesn't matter. I pulled this in a draft when my enemy was at full health, smacked him in the face with the germ, then played Insatiable Souleater, crushed him with an 8/2 with trample and haste, and then, the very next turn, played Razorfield Rhino and killed him with a 9/7 with haste. The ability to pump up any and all cards, ahem Blightsteel Colussus hem, and smash someone the very turn you play it can really switch a board around and even win you the game if your enemy isn't expecting it. This is the reason haste is my favorite ability.

6CMC...
I really like the concept, but COME ON! 6CMC!!!
Have thought about making a living weapon deck, why couldn't this have cost 5 or less and given +2/+1 and haste instead? 6 CMC... wizards have overcosted living weapons, except for bonehoard and lashwrithe (batterskull is just dumb).

I really hate how Living Weapon costs so much. Great card once it's out, but really? Shame too, because I was telling all my friends how cool it'd be to have equipment like this, not expecting it to be in the works, or to turn out so crappy

Not bad with transmuter. One blue gets you a 3/1 haster every turn.

yeah i think it's just the haste as to why its so expensive, i'll give it a 2/5

This is not a popular card, is it? I had never heard of it before searching for all of the living weapons.

The casting cost is kinda ugly, but it's an artifact. There's so many ways to cheat this onto the field, it's not even funny. And it's really nice once it arrives. All of my playmates underestimate it, and they all learn better quite quickly.

The only colorless creatures with unconditional haste are Arcbound Hybrid (2/2 for ) and Oxidda Golem (3/2 for , with affinity for Mountains, so if you're getting him cheaper, you're playing red anyways). So as much as the mana cost sucks, it's in line with what colorless can get.

I've built a living weapon deck, and this guy is the single scariest thing in it. After any board wipe my opponent attempts, I can get my juggernaut rolling again immediately.
For . By god does this thing terrify people. No matter what it's attached to, it turn it scary. This is the only living weapon you really can't think of as a colorless creature with the ability to resurrect itself. This is a Haste enabler, pure and simple, and it does it's job damned good in casual multiplayer.
