Blade of the Sixth Pride was good. This is great. We don't see that kind of beater in white at uncommon very often.

Solid stats for the price and Battle cry just makes it all the sweeter. With this, the hero, the crusader, and the skyhunter Besieged is giving white knights quite a bit to work with.

Played two of him at the pre-release. I managed to get two of this guy along with three Rally the Forces. So 3/1 isn't very bad at all when you attack with him, some more weenies, and then rally the forces to devastate your opponents' side of the field. My best play with Accorder Paladin though was turn two Accorder Paladin, turn three Piston Sledge. That's a 6/2 beatstick that my infect-playing opponents weren't prepared for by turn three. Love this card, and it's great in its uses. 4.5/5.

Definitely a great turn 2 card for any aggressive deck, and with Knight Exemplar to back him up on turn 3, you're putting the opponent on a quick clock.
Nice quick card for white weenie and should help boost the knight deck. Whether it got enough in Beseiged for it to take off is still to be seen.

1st turn: Plains, Student of Warfare
2nd turn: Plains, Accorder Paladin opp. life:19
3rd turn: Plains, Knight Exemplar or Mirran Crusader opp. life:12- if Knight Exemplar
4th turn: Plains, Hero of Bladehold opp. life: 2
5th turn: Plains, Hero of Bladehold opp. life: DEAD
Obviously we'll have blockers so maybe it won't turn out like that always lol but that's what we got Sun Titan or Wurmcoil for! I prefer Wurmcoil. 2 copies would be nice. But that reoccurring Double Striking MIrran or Indestructable giving baddie are pretty nice every turn.
And the most exciting part about this to me is that we still have a whole new set that still hasn't come out! Who knows what we're gonna get! All I know is that I really enjoy this block so far, and I can't wait to see what's next. In the meantime, I'm gonna go beat my brother down with my Tezzeret, Agent of Bada$$ Infectorama.

This could be a 0/1 with Defender and "At the beginning of your next end step, sacrifice this card. Then exile all permanents you control, all cards in your hand, and all cards in your library" and I'd STILL give it a 4 for the art alone.
But that's not the case, so 4.5 for an excellent card with top-notch art.

This guy is awesome. I don't have to play with or against it to know. A 3/1 body for 1W is already good, and an ability that boosts a weenie deck (By coincidence the type of deck he is made for) pushes him over the top.

Well, Goblins are almost always equal P/T, despite the fact that heavy beatdown is pretty much the only way to play them. And I don't think I've ever seen a (non-black) Goblin who had two+ greater power than toughness. As it is I think this works fine, since 1) Kuldoatha decks really needed the great 2/2 for 2 and 2) this guy just screams "glorious sacrifice please!" which can certainly fit white pretty well, especially given how dire the Auriok/Mirrian position is by the time Besieged rolls around.

What some people dont get is that according to MaRo and R&D white is
a) The second most aggressive color (No.1 being red) Look at its fast White Weenie tactics.
and b) The second best creature color (No.1 being green). Green gets the biggest bodies in all CMC, while white always gets the most efficient 1 and 2 CMC drops. Again look at its Weenie tactics, there's a reason why its called WHITE Weenie.
An absolute terror against slower decks. T1 Elite Vanguard, T2 Paladin and T3 Honor of the Pure has been the opening for more than a few winning games with my Standard White Weenie deck.

Kinsbaile Cavalier for fun with double strike. Not only will this card hit for 6 (and offing creatures with 3 or less toughness immediately), but the battle cry will pump the double strikers as well (The cavalier will also swing for 6).

@AngryMudkipz Yes, battle cry stacks, since it's a triggered ability.
From Comprehensive Rules: 702.89. Battle Cry 702.89a Battle cry is a triggered ability. ―Battle cry‖ means ―Whenever this creature attacks, each other attacking creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn.‖ 702.89b If a creature has multiple instances of battle cry, each triggers separately.

Two mana for a 3/1 with Battle Cry, he's just awesome. In a human deck I prefer him over the Signal Pest because he's a human and a knight, which carries other bonuses. The signal pest is mighty fine though.
In the last months of standard my ideal game goes turn one: Champion of the Parish, Turn two: Accorder Paladin, Turn three: Thatcher Revolt and swing for 15!
I will be sad when this guy leaves standard, what will I replace him with? Riot Ringleader I suppose, but he won't be the same at all.

It looks to me to be a stylized Glaive which is used, traditionally, for fighting mounted units. As for how he is holding it; it is surprisingly simple to use the leverage of the blade to swing it upwards from back to front to cleave an enemy. Its also possible that ( and it kinda looks like this to me ) that he is running and is holding the blade behind him to keep it clear.
As for the card itself, he may be delicate but he also makes a great Silverblade Paladin target as he is really vicious as a 3/1 DS. Love the art and flavor too.

This guy is so abusively powerful. 3 power 2 drops are somewhat rare, and this guy boosts nearby guys to boot. To contribute something new to the discussion: Reconnaissance will allow you to Battle Cry and then get out of combat if they block; giving free lord-buffs to your other attackers while protecting your 2-drop lord. Pair this with sneaky first/double strike effects and you're bound to nab some opponent's creatures with him.
