This is a well-costed card. The double green means that it wont be easily stuffed into any infect deck not running a good amount of green, which is fine by me. But this pushes you to play green, and this will be quite powerful in those decks. Turn three, destroy your artifact (possibly a blocker), set up tempo to poison you to death before you can get on your feet? Yes please.

This is a card that should not exist. Let's forget that infect already has way to many cmc-3 creatures. It's just totally wrong to make a perfect card like Viridian Shaman almost useless.

This thing is just stupid in limited, infect already has major advantages over metalcraft/non-infect decks in that; -they only have to deal 10 damage, their damage to creatures is permanent, their damage to players can't be healed. Why does infect now get a stupidly powerful and efficient creature like this?
Not to mention infect also has access to 2-for-1's like Corpse Cur and Morbid Plunder, which makes this even lamer whey bring him back and destroy your Golem Artisan or something like that.

I'll never understand why this & Viridian Shambler are considered so amazing, but Manic Vandal is considered a 'meh' card.
However, they can all be buddies in my R/G Liquimetal Coating deck =D
Love this card, was never a big fan of the shaman, but give it infect and now we have card advantage. what i see here is almost a green version of nighthawk, (of course nowhere near as powerful)
I love utility cards with multiple effects, especially in green.
