You've got to admire the people in the Card Comparisons thread who realised that Batterskull is strictly better than this. I mean, okay, this is awful, but the Batterskull comparison is just amusing.

A rare 4/4 for six mana should have something more than an overcosted bounce ability. This is one of those rares which represent something rare; there aren't many sliptide serpents in Dominaria.

Dig the art. Surprised it didn't have islandwalk or something. The lack of evasion makes this a big waste of mana. By the time you and your opponent have access to 6 mana, a 4/4 just won't cut it, even if it can protect itself from removal to an extent.
@ Kryptnyt: actually, I think that Palinchron is the retarded one. It's so stupid that you can honestly think that they didn't test it even for a second. This one may be overcosted, but I think that is as it is because of Palinchron, because they made a card so absurd that they had to penalize this in the next block. In other words, if Sliptide Serpent is bad, you have to blame Palinchron, not the Serpent...
