This actually doesn't seem that bad to me, not sure why the rating is only 2.5. If enchantments turn out to be an issue in this standard then this could certainly help amend that problem.

I dub thee, War Priest of Leyline Hosing. And hey, who doesn't like a bear with a little perk?

2/2 with an effect? Yes please. However, we can look on the other side -> if your opponent doesn't use enchantments and you do, you may end up targeting one of your own...

Effect says "may", so no, you won't hit one of your own.

Built in demystify, though granted not an instant demystify.

He is instant demystify if you have the blue leyline out... he plays well with your enchantments and mean with the enemy. throw in jace 2.0 for a billion dollars and you can just hose.

sideboard material only, but wow, what a sideboard! this would be correctly costed even without the enchantment removal.

Silvercoat Lion and enchantment removal at sorcery speed. A fine card. But always consider Qasali Pridemage if your running green as well.

I like that it is a white card but the overall flavour is leaning towards White/Red :D

This card has the feel of a magic card back from the old days. As has been said sideboard material, but on an enchantment heavy deck it should be straight 2 for 1 card advantage.

Average. Not horrible, not great. In formats with a larger card pool, such as EDH, I wouldn't play it though.

There was a Kamigawa Spirit and a Coldsnap Unicorn that were this exept their ability was a sac effect instead of a comes-into-play effect. Your call which is better.

Need a chump block in your control deck? Need to kill a Mirari's Wake or Leyline? Need them both at the same time? This is your card. And as previously mentioned, you won't hit your own enchantment, it says "you MAY destroy target enchantment".

Who/what the hell is Thune? I can only assume it is a diety or a religion.

This is a great core set white 2/2.
If he was a Soldier Cleric I'd say 5/5. Still a 4/5 from me though.

Great 2-for-1 card. Artwork is superb, too.

White shouldn't have a direct destruction of enchantments. Since black and red are the enemies of white, both should have the best ways to handle the white enchantment play. Therefore, my votes are for a red Tranquility and a black Disenchant with a "non-black" restriction.

@Kryptnyt: "Thune is one of Norway’s leading chains of goldsmiths and watchmakers and currently consists of 19 shops. Our most important product groups are gold, diamond and silver jewellery, wris***ches, cutlery and silver table ware. Thune aspires to retain its position as a leading specialist within these areas." So there you have it!

Great Card:
Can deal with any ascension (mainly luminarch, and occasionally pyromancer gets dirty).
Takes out a leyline
Provides the beats or the block
Should you mainboard it? No.. But if the meta-game you play in has quite a few players using leylines or ascensions (or other nasty enchantments) that get in your way it's a great sideboard option.

@Cheza, you do know that red and black have always been intentionally made not to have enchantment destruction, right?

Gives a whole new meaning to the the term "Bible Belt".
Very solid and better yet? Good art. Gotta love arti/enchant hate when it only costs you a bear-slot and not a true deck slot. I use him in a cleric tribal with Order of Whiteclay.
Who says you can't destroy something at instant speed with this guy ;D

In 90% of cases he is not taking something out on turn 2. A lot of decks do not have enchantments so its an okay sideboard card if you see O-Ring or something.
