It's hard to imagine the deck this would be the MVP of. But in a control deck with a significant amount of black that plans to have the game run long anyway, this could be a decent source of supplementary damage, very slow but uncounterable and easily searched for. I'd run one or two in such a deck.

EACH opponent! Omg this rocks in multiplayer!

No, it does not rock in multiplayer. Even with three other players you're paying two mana for three damage, which is almost never worth it, especially in Black where life-stealing is so easy.

@Hand_Bannana:
I don't believe you can, and the reason for that is that while this card has basic land TYPES, it itself is not a basic land. So TM wouldn't let you search for it, but Polluted Delta would

Swamp is a land type if it were basic, it would have the basic supertype this does not

This is a swamp. It may be found with cards that find swamps. It triggers effects based on having a swamp. It is not a basic land. It may not be found with cards that find basic lands. This ruling is explained in similar cards.

does this count as a basic land? like could i terramorphic expanse this? @paleopaladin see my agruement is that it IS a basic land because swamp is a basic land. its just no named swamp so you can still only have four of them. i really think it counts as a basic land. to say it doesnt would be to say that swamp is not a basic land type ya ok enough people seem pretty sure about this so ill go with you guys on it

@Joseph_Leito Oh wow, that's why Barbarian Ring and Cursed Scroll were so popular. 2 mana for 3 damage is almost never worth it.

This seems like it would be at its strongest in a megrim/underworld dreams deck.
Just in case anybody is still wondering, this isn't a basic land because it doesn't have the Basic supertype. Basic lands have the following type line: Basic Land - Swamp. See that? Basic Land. This has no Basic preceding the Land part. If Swamps were automatically Basic, it would be completely redundant to list it as Basic Land - Swamp.

This is a GREAT card for my Korlash Grandeur deck!
"Comes into play tapped" does not hurt at all because Korlash becomes his ability puts them into play anyway. I'm thinking of adding some short of Multi-colored land for my Korlash deck. Seriously though, while I'm empty on Mana, that's 2 to 4 damage for mana I probably wouldn't be using anyway. With Korlash on the field, I could save a Leachridden Swamp and Black Mana, and regenerate Korlash if something unfortunate were to happen. If not, 1 damage is the differense between life and death half the time in my deck!

Can't see what the problem is. You'll never use the ability on your own turn, and tapping two lands as the opponent before you ends their turn isn't too much of a drain in my books.

For everybody saying they don't know what this is good in, it's definitely best in Rakdos, Lord of Riots multiplayer EDH. In that scenario, this card is actually: "B, tap: creature spells you cast this turn cost X less to cast, where X is the number of opponents." And two black permanents should never really be an issue.
