This is an EDH card, period. That said, Helldozer is awesome.
doesn't quite have the same ring to it. Still, it's good to see a zombie try and break the diet-consisting-solely-of-brains stereotype.

It's okay. Not the best for Planechase. 4/5 for the flavor text.

Synergy with Dingus Egg to deal damage to your opponent as well. Just don't target a Terramorphic Expanse with it, since they can just {T} it in response (if for whatever reason Terramorphic Expanse is already tapped and still on the battlefield, by all means)

Unbelievable in EDH when used in a deck with massive amounts of black mana (Nirkana Revenant, Cabal Coffers). It's possible to destroy a half dozen or more lands per turn with this monster.
Draws the hate though, like few other cards :)

After reading the first sentence, I was like "meh". Then I read the second sentence, now I need a second pair of underwear.

I don't see why wizards didn't reprint this in the new Ravnica block, it practically belongs in there - in the old Ravnica, this guy was a potential answer to the tons of shock lands seeing play, now in standard there are so many dual lands/shock lands/fetch lands that most players don't even bother with basic lands anymore, which is shameful because the focus of the game should not be to have the most expensive mana-base possible. That being said, this is an awesome card in vintage zombie decks - if you can get him in the grave on T-1, you can animate dead on T-2 and he can start cracking lands by T-3, at which point you can potentially keep your opponent under pressure for the rest of the game if he doesn't fall to removal.

Brutal to create a lockdown. Imagine:
T1- Putrid Imp T2- Discard any 4+ dredger, dredge it T3- Do that again, Cabal Ritual, tap your last swamp for 1, this guy
If they don't remove him now; they'll be losing a land every turn! That said, Dust Bowl is the tournament-colorless-version of this guy

this is the capstone creature in my mono black land destruction deck. just a tad lower toughness than some other 6 cmc giants, but it's a solid beater with an awesome activation.

This card was originally a large, bland, vanilla, hole-fill post-development creation. Brady Dommermuth hail-mary'd the name. When Development saw the name, they decided to make the card more powerful. - Via Matt Cavotta, via Drive to Work # 91
