@SaprolingsFTW: Not only does Blind Hunter require white mana, but you can't recur it over and over again from your graveyard, since Haunt exiles the bat. The vast majority of the time, you're right, but my weird Ashes of the Fallen / Soulshift 4 deck keeps picking up Highway Robber and slamming him on the table, and that is much more fun to me.

Zombies are easier to recur so this is way better than Highway Robber. Not broken so should be reprinted.

This + Blessing of Leeches + Phyrexian Ghoul. Attach Blessing of Leeches to this, then keep saccing it to Phyrexian Ghoul to wind up with - infinte direct damage to opponent + infinite life gain + infinite damage on Phyrexian Ghoul until end of turn. What part of that isn't great?

This looks exactly like the boss from Altered Beast. Style points for polymorphing him into an evil eye.

The part that isn't great is the part that doesn't work. You can't regenerate a sacrificed creature. Regenerate only prevents lethal damage and destroy effects. Once you sacrifice the Dakmor Ghoul he's in the graveyard, nothing Blessing of Leeches can do about that.

Used to be a lot better. Pretty good still, Bloodhunter Bat is better for the most part.

This card has a niche because of the fact that, unlike Bloodhunter Bat and Highway Robber, it is a zombie. Use it based off of that niche. People definitely shouldn't be comparing this to Blind Hunter, which can only be played in a black/white deck.
