If u make an elephant deck and put this in it and give it shroud, you would be unstoppable.

Elephants are cool in real life. In Magic, that's not so much the case. This can tap for a mana the turn it comes down, and can regenerate your Chameleon Colossus, so it's not that bad. I'd just have a hard time rationalizing spending ~ 25 bucks on a land that's merely "not that bad."

I'm with you there. Personally I'm baffled as to how this card reached that price in the first place. If it's not functionality related what makes it so collectible?

Probably because it is from Arabian Nights, and has not been reprinted.

I would play 25$ for this. Always wanted one, and now with changelings, it is even more interesting. Then again, I love elephants.

Note that the Time Spiral homage to this card was Swarmyard, which is just as good in a Changeling deck and probably rather cheaper to acquire :P

Cool land! Elephants got upgrades over the years with Loxodon

Beautiful card in Master's Edition draft. Makes Elephants a pedigree of their own.

@Moleland:
Cat creatures can't attack you. New flavor text:
"That's beyond our borders. You must never go there, Simba."

would the ability not make sense to destroy target elephant as it is an elephant graveyard?

Flavour-wise, it would make more sense if this card said "All of your elephants are already dead."
It wouldn't be as strong, though.

Pardon, but how does a graveyard keep one from dying?
