Compare the text on the card to the Oracle text. 4 lines reduced to 4 words.

And so the loop is sealed. We're done with that. Good? Good.
Anyhow, a repeatable green counterspell... that's some funny looking colour-hate if I ever saw it. Either way though, good sideboard against black , but the card seems very out-of-pie by today's standards.

Only by searching Random Card? I actually have 4 copies of this card across various editions.
It was the core of my Green/Blue deck, that my local group forced me to dismantle after a few games against it.
Wow. Color hate doesn't get much more powerful than this. Especially considering just how little is to green.

I'm sure if running a UG deck in casual, vintage, legacy, or even EDH slipping in Magical Hack means you can tailor your lifeforce to hate whichever colors you want... though until then probably est to sideboard this.
Heh, imagine on a UG ramp how aggravating it will get for an opponent - especially if either up against black, or using Magical Hack to tailor it to hate any other specific color of your choice

Lifeforce x4 + Sleight of Mind x4 with Green mana supply? Domination in its finest.
As for the card... Huh, I've never seen that before. Maybe I'll try it in EDH for giggles.
Also, its one of the few times you can be a mono-green player, while playing a blue player strategy.
