It's okay, but it'd make more sense for it to be two mana, if you ask me. Think about it: Regenerate is one, and Vigilance is one.

I'm a little surprised no one has mentioned yet that this -- preceeded by Thrull Retainer, then Carapace -- is a prototypical Totem Armor enchantment.

I do agree with 2 cmc, i think they prolly made it 3 just cuz its out of color? green + vigilance + totem armor = playable in the right deck. its missing +1/+1 for this cost imo, cuz they be power creepin' like that.
