It's ironic that Intimidation's effect was later keyworded to Fear -- and now we have a new keyword, Intimidate, which is not what Intimidation does.

That green dude kinda looks like Cthulhu...

@ lateralis0ne I would agree with you... except for the fact that the only thing i see the "green dude" having in comon with the great Cthulhu is that he is green, as i understand it Cthulhu is much bigger, much tenticlier, and MUCH soul eaterier. (yes i did that on purpose for a rhyming-ish effect)

A powerful effect, but I think they could have lopped a colourless mana or two off the cost.

i'm pretty sure the "green guy" is the same one shown on Cateran Enforcer.

Cover of Darkness is better a good chunk of the time, but this isn't terrible as a monoblack finisher on your sideboard.

"If they move, kill them. In fact, kill one now to make sure the other understands." Awesome flavor text

I'm pretty sure the green guy is Cateran Enforcer.

Also, I fully agree with what Sir Bruce said.
Being the nominalization of Intimidate yet granting Fear makes this card bear an unfortunately misleading card name now.

The cost is a bit steep. Although flavorful, I don't feel like triple black was necessary at all - at least with two further colorless mana, so I agree with Kirbster.
As Mr.Wimples said, Cover of Darkness (with a cost of 1Black) is much better for tribal.

Also, to refer to yet another person in this comment section, Kikke's justified praise for the flavor text could have been functionally made part of this card to make it (more playable and) the ultimately flavor-oozing enchantment.
Imagine this had a Terror-trigger when it enters:

When Intimidation enters the battlefield, destroy target nonartifact, nonblack creature. It can't be regenerated.

Creatures you control have fear.

Theros has me building mono-color decks again, and the BlackBlackBlack devotion helps keep Erebos, God of the Dead a creature while making my creatures unblockable to many creatures.l
