Exactly.

And I was just thinking of making a dredge deck. :P

Very handy. Especially since killing stuff is what black does best!

It may be just me, but I think that attacking the graveyard is one of the weakest functions of black, and definitely not something that should be attached to a trap at the uncommon rarity. So it gets rid of Grixis unearth and decks based on reanimation. That's it. Extremely specific targets, and a function that can be found on several common cards as well, like, I dunno, Relic of Progenitus, perhaps? I think this trap is probably one of the worst ones printed. It would have done much better if it did something similar to Makeshift Mannequin instead, giving us another instant speed reanimate to make up for the loss, and it would be similar to several of the green traps that put creatures into play.

Good. I was sick of Ichorid. Now lets print something to take care of Time Vault in T1.

Yet another answer to dredge, although this one is a lot better than the others.

Try putting Mirror of Fate into your dredge deck. Slim chance it'll help though, if they have more than one of these waiting.

My super secret tech against Time Sieve, Lucky Charms, Crypt combo, and Emeria. And this is only in standard. Better than most answers against dredge in legacy, because no one ever expects it.

Great anti-Dredge card. I love the art. The drool is well brought out and it gives the feeling that they have just relised what they have walked into.

Mill deck's have an answer to Eldrazi. Regardless of whether you play black or not, sideboard these in. If your mill hits an Eldrazi, cast this for 0 and exile the graveyard before it's shuffled back into the library.

{Trapmaker's Snare} + {Twincast} to get an {Archive Trap} and a {Ravenous Trap} together.

My, that's a lot of fancy rules text for something designed to say "{0}: Counter target Dread Return".

a 0 dredge killer, I know its specific and all, but for ZERO mana. This card rocks for what it is intended to do. 5/5

That's more of a mouth than it is a trap.

I was never a fan of any of the trap cards. As for this one i don't play mill and mono black vampires was too fast to worry about graveyards. Good card for people that aren't me though.

The problem is, this effect has always been cheap. Really cheap. Cue Tormod's Crypt and even Nihil Spellbomb. This card's only real advantage is the surprise, the ability to slap down an opponent's strategy after they overextend, but even then...bleh.

Bleh. At least it can surprise hose dredge.
