Seems like a totally random reprint, but i'm not complaining. Great new art for one of my favorite creatures of all time and it will be totally nostalgic to have this in a deck again.

Probably one of the best green picks in limited. I hated playing against this guy. I'm not sure if he's constructed material but if blue decks are common then its possible...

He's back and better than before. And he was still very good before.

Won a pre-release with this guy. the only reason I won is because I pulled two and everyone else only got one.

I wasn't lucky enough to get one and was killed by him repeately in Pre-release. About the only way to get rid of him in Zendikar is Marsh Casualties. Even in Standard that survivability will be good.

I would've preferred a reprint of Mire Boa for sole reason that I think it could use some new art.

I agree with these comments. The river boa has always been a dominate green creature. It has speed, versatility, and sometimes evasion. It is a strong early game attacker, then a awesome mid and late game defender. Play your mana correctly and you can ignore lightning bolt and doom blade, and if your opponent is playing blue they must deal with it or die a cheap death.
River boas of old had rancor for even quicker deaths. Those days are gone but Extended decks can now double up the fun with both the mire and river versions.

excellent point about the skeletons... I'd like to see a few more interesting skeletons.

River Boa: such a fighter in many a deck. I like how the snake kind of hung in there throughout magic's sets, it just feels right. This is a great looking card too, great artwork.

I love this card. This is one of the best common creatures in the game. Two great abilities in a cheap package.

I love how they reprinted this for a whole new generation of newbies to get their hands on. Such a great card.

This card is good even against a non-blue deck.
One mana regeneration with 2 power for 2 is no joke.

Very useful card to fight off first-strike creatures while building up your mana in order to bring out your fatties later. An additional plus playing against blue.

For some reason, this thing is a game winner. The simplest damn creature.

Compare this with Druge Skeleton, and you'll know why it kicks ass.

One of the basic little creatures in my green deck. Cheap regeneration is awesome. Makes for great defense, and the added bonus of islandwalk means that you can slip through Blue's defenses and finish the game if you're stalled.

Hey, they reprinted Wall of Regenerating Snake! Cool! I remember running 4 of these in my Wurmageddon Deck back in the day. Pound of pound one of the best blockers early game. Or attackers, if you wanted to go that route in a Stompy deck.

Compare with drudge skeletons to see how good this card is.

This used to be the two-drop to beat back in the day. Automatic 5/5 just for that.
