Fond memories of this. Never played it or had it played on myself, but the look on the guy's face when his opponent played it is more than enough to make me wish I had. I wasn't that experienced back then, but I could tell this was gooooooood.

Powerful finisher; don't think I've ever seen this guy blocked.

a new version of this should have double strike

A more evasive-er Shivan Dragon, with splashable firebreathing!
What is not to love here?

Seems like it would work well in Scion of the Ur-Dragon EDH.

Very hard to block and very easy to pump to 10 power. Recipe for success!

I nabbed two of these in my first ever draft. That was the highlight of that experience.

Though I did get a few pointers from John Larkin, a top bloke.

To be the undisputed master of the number two, give him double strike.

A gave it a 2/5, cuz it has two of things.

Just kidding. Though I'm surprised such a powerful card was in Masques.

This card was one of my favorites in my dragon deck. I am glad he does not have doublestrike, because that would have raised the price by 1Red.

Deadly. Not only can it pump itself up with half nonred mana, but it also must be blocked by two flyers at once. A real treasure from Mercadian Masques, a notoriously weak set.
