4 mana for a 2/2 flier? And it can't even give itself the bonus unless you tacked on Vigilance somehow. There are much better angels for the cost out there. Great artwork though.

Another example of great art on mediocre cards. :(

@PrimeSonic, it can give itself the bonus if it's blocking.

Something like this, 1WW, 1/1, tap for +2/+2 on target attacking or blocking creature would be much nicer. Thinking of her as an enchantment rather than a creature makes her a little more enticing, but not by much, as there would be better enchantments out there.

I always liked this card. Fairly versatile and the art is awesome. It looks even better in the Modern frame.

Remember, kids, it doesn't matter how hard you train, if you don't have supernatural powers on your side, it's pointless!

Yeah, the flavor kind of annoys me. Art is great, tho.

It's nice to see this art being reused. 7th edition hed some gorgeous art which was ruined by that hideous white border.

@ Kelptic183 Well, if this is better than 1000 drills, frankly I think that is a pretty good thing for drills. +2/+2 is, on average, the size of a bear. So lets say you do three drills a day, in a little under three years you will have done 1001 drills. Which is presumably about as good as this. You are now some crazy combo of a bear and a soldier. So prolly around the size of an elephant. Which is pretty bloody impressive. Also, keep in mind, that your average soldier does more than three drills a day and trains for longer than three years. So, frankly, I would rather have a six-year-trained soldier than an angel on my side. So, remember kids, with proper training you too can punch out dragons!
