Nice flavor, and it has some amount of use. One of Red's faster creatures. However, you might be better off with something like Lightning Elemental, seeing as he has a nonzero chance of survival when attacking, and is just as likely to take out the attacker on defense.
Although, if you're using Lightning elemental for defense, you're probably doing it wrong.
Edit: Hnng, Lightning Elemental costs more. Let me find a better example.
More edit: Just use Goblin Roughrider unless you're playing against a trampler.
