what's better than casting this POS once? how about EVERY TURN UNTIL YOU DIE.

It's hard to kill, permanently, leaves room for combos... playable. Not advisable, but playable. I say: **

Combos extremely well with cards that come into effect when a creature is played. Example: Furious Assault This means either a player takes 1 damage, or your get to play your creature again.
I give it 3.5. For its cost it itself isn't very strong itself.

is 0 stars an option? no? o yea because even a POS can combo w/ something... like another POS... for a POS side-effect when you lose for trying to play a deck full of stuff like this... lets throw a moss demon in too... im sure there's some ultra narrow POS card that combos w/ it too...

Should cost one damn mana. This has printing error written all over it. It's like some cards get magically cheaper while some are far too expensive, perhaps due to the casting cost gremlin (now there's an Uncard!).
Here I thought I had pulled every crap card from Masques. Good to know I at least missed one.

The bastard a is "chump" attacker which makes no sense at all. I thought did I second ago but I realized it's just one of the crappiest taunts in existence. The bane of his existence is a multi-blocker.
Other than the aforementioned bouncing effects and etc, this is a near-worthless card. It has no potential for blue aggro, blue control, mill, draw, not very many combos...

Good thing they added a drawback to rein in this monster. 1/2 for 3 mana is just too damned good.

Not actually SO bad as you can chump block with it and get him back before damage dies. I do that a lot with Lantern Spirit. But it's just not worth it. It's "eh" to the hardest, most uninterested degree.

strictly worse than storm crow, now that's an achievement.
and for those who see him comboing with "enters the battlefield" effects: he just bounces when blocked! so unless your opponent is so desperate that he can't take the whooping one damage this guy does, why should he block? or maybe you could add a sorrow's path to the mix to reassign blockers haha...
this guy is really bottom of the barrel.

Play it in a ninjutsu deck.
It's blocked? Return it to your hand. It's not blocked? Return it to your hand.

Only real combo that seems actually worthwhile off hand to me; this guy and Nemesis Mask.
Slap that on him, he forces all your opponents creatures to block him... But rather than die he goes back to your hand. So for 6 mana, you can have him luring away all the opponents blockers.
Of course, he doesn't have haste so it's every other turn. And it's six mana every time you want to do that... Yeah, definitely still a stretch. :p

My god... This card is disgusting... It doesn't even work in evolve. 1/2 a star

You know how much a 1/2 Merfolk costs nowadays? One mana, and it even gets the Rogue subtype to boot. This costs two mana more and has a drawback. Yes, creatures were weaker back then, but this is just ridiculous.
Oh, and to those of you trying to find ways to abuse that drawback? Cute, but there are dozens, if not hundreds, of creatures that can do it better.
