I know a guy with zombie deck, but the way we play we never reveal what deck we're using. Might be good in mono 5 player, just picking on black i guess.

Seems this set has a lot of phenomenal cards...for sideboard, that is.
Wouldn't have been overpowered if it were a soldier, either, and would be much more useful if it were.

2/2 for 3, not efficient. ability, hoses a decent portion of black decks. problem: summoning sickness. the delay before you get to use this card, or playing it before they get there zombies etc. out is just the time they need to destroy this. can they do that reliably? oh yeah, they are playing black... 3/5

It's a bit too specific, but zombies have always been powerful, and vampires are looking like the new black standard tribe, especially with Zendikar thrown into the mix.
Skeletons are still garbage as usual. One day, wizards should make skeletons awesome.

Low and behold, vampires have become a recurring nightmare with the release of Zendikar and that block is only beginning.The mana cost is fair enough in my mind: 2 for 2/2 and 1 for the ability, but I would rather have had her be instead. Still, I've seen no better card up to the task of tackling vampires and she was my first choice in constructing an anti-black deck.

Also, if you have nothing to protect your creatures from black spells, congratulations, you lose to every black deck ever. Christ, learn to strategize. If every card was perfect on its own this would be the most boring game ever.

I have found this card to be very useful against my casual group. Whenever i see a swamp im almost sure to see a drudge skeleton or some kinda vampire or zombie. Also destroys changling decks. To bad it doesnt hit demons. Or tap them at least. (Maybe to hard to turn eh.) Type changing effects might be handy for non undead fellows, but im sure theres eaisier ways to do it... well thats my thoughts on the matter. I bid you good day.

Honestly, I'm shocked she isn't back for Innistrad. She definitely fits the "humans vs. monsters" theme perfectly. I guess they thought she'd be too strong a hoser in Limited against two of the set's main tribes.

Not reprinted in Innistrad for the simple reason that it would hose it too strongly, and there are few (if any) Skeletons in the set. At least, that's my guess.
